Banner advertising allows you to directly target your market
by specifically promoting your company within the most appropriate
pages of this site. If we were a newspaper we'd call it Run
Of Paper advertising.
A banner can link directly to your own web site or simply direct
your customers to a micro-site within the Start in Business
web site.
A 468 x 60 pixel banner advert appears at the top of the page.
A 120 x 60 pixel banner appears in the navigation strip to the
left of the main text.
There is a maximum of just one 468 x 60 px and one 120 x 60
px banner advert per page.
Most of the pages of this site are available for banner adverts
at a standard rate.
However, prime locations, such as the home page and menu pages
are available at higher rates.
Banner specifications.
All banners submitted must be designed to the following specifications.
We can offer banner and web site design services if required.
Dimensions:
Either: 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high
Or: 120 pixels wide by 60 pixels high
File format:
Either jpg or gif files.
Animated gif's are also accepted.
Maximum file size:
All banners must be under 10k in size.
How to send your banner to us.
The banner.
Post your banner onto a website, send us a link via e-mail
and we'll download it.
Alternatively, send it as an attachment
to lila at startinbusiness.co.uk.
The URL link.
Tell us the exact URL (or web address) that you wish the banner
to link to. It should go something like this: http://www.yourname.co.uk
If you do not have a web site contact
us and we will call you to organise a micro-site.
